I found out that they are actually E585 WCDMA 3G Modem OEM by Huawei. It will normally cost you $25 each to unlock if you ring up the customer service.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nickdu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/vodafone_PocketWiFi.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-115\" title=\"vodafone_PocketWiFi\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nickdu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/vodafone_PocketWiFi-300x251.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"251\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After few hours attempting, I finally found a way to unlock them for free without any cost. If you like DIY, here are the outlines to share.<\/p>\n<p>Preparation: a USB Cable, locked SIM card, and internet access<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Connect      3G Modem to PC with USB Cable and install windows modem driver (ensure not      WIFI connection)<\/li>\n<li>Download      RevSkills from <a href=\"http:\/\/psas.revskills.de\/?q=node\/6\">http:\/\/psas.revskills.de\/?q=node\/6<\/a> and install on your computer<\/li>\n<li>Run      RevSkill from your desktop and select \u201cQC+AT-Cmd\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nickdu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/revskills1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-116\" title=\"revskills1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nickdu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/revskills1-300x191.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"191\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select correct 3G modem COM port from the list and Baud Rate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nickdu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/revskills2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-117\" title=\"revskills2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nickdu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/revskills2-300x274.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"274\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to DIAG tab, and click \u201cSend\u201d, if success, you will see your 3G Modem Version information comes out<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nickdu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/revskills3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-118\" title=\"revskills3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nickdu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/revskills3-300x274.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"274\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select \u201cSave NVItems to file\u201d and click \u201cLets go\u201d. It will pop a window to ask you where to save the NVItems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nickdu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/revskills4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-119\" title=\"revskills4\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nickdu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/revskills4-300x274.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"274\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use Notepad to open the saved file and search \u201cPST\u201d. The number behind \u201cPST\u201d is the unlock code.
